So have you ever entertained the thought that you would like to get published? Maybe freelance writing? Have you ever wanted to write an article for a travel magazine, blog, or newspaper? Maybe you already have something written that you would like to share with the world? Well, even though WanderUntilLost.com is personally owned, I am always accepting guest written articles. If you have a way with words and are passionate about experiencing new places and wandering, then maybe this is an option for you. After all, a variety in authorship is always refreshing to readers and perhaps it could inspire you to start your own blog.
If your post is exceptionally good, there is always a chance you could be paid for your work!
Of course, WanderUntilLost.com is namely a travel blog, so the article will have to revolve around some topics similar to the ones already published here. General travel, travel tips, destinations, adventure stories, photography, attraction reviews, etc. are all good categories. Check out all the blog posts here to get some ideas on topics.
Before working too hard on something, feel free to run your idea by me. You can email me at email@example.com to tell me all about what you have planned and we can discuss it. Here are some guidelines to writing articles on this blog to get you started.
- Articles must be travel oriented or revolve around a nomadic lifestyle. Articles should be relevant to other blog content if you want to get published.
- Articles should be between 300 and 700 words long.
- Articles must contain a specific keyword or short phrase that must be used in the article at least three times. ex.(“snorkeling in the pacific” or “learning spanish”)
- You must have a main subject or point to the article. Keep it straightforward and don’t bounce around on subjects and rabbit trails too much.
Once I receive a copy of your article, we will walk through it and I will give you suggestions (if need be) on how to clean it up and make it more blog friendly before you can get published. You as the article author will of course reserve all rights to your article unless you are being paid for it, in either case it will be showcased in the blog in the guest posts section of WanderUntilLost.com as well as in any relevant categories pages. Categories can be seen in the menu at the top of the screen.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact me via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or pm me on the Facebook page here. I am usually available to talk to both readers and writers, and if you don’t hear back right away, I usually reply within 24 hours time.
So go ahead, tune your brain and write something that is out of this world! …Well, not too out of this world….
